Photos: Check Out This 'Smart Bra' That Only Unhooks When The Lady Is In Love!

A Japanese lingerie company has created a concept bra, which it claims is be able to sense when a woman is in love. Ravijour has engineered a concept bra that only undoes when ‘true love’ is detected using a built-in heart monitor and works with a smartphone app. Watch the video (and more pictures) after the break

The firm said the device is ‘a revolutionary bra that knows how women feel’. The bra is not currently on sale and there is no indication as to whether it will be made, but the prototype has a front clasp with a sensor and a light that glows pink if the wearer is in love with a person nearby. In a promotional video, the sensor monitors the smart bra wearer’s heart rate and transmits the data in realtime to an iPhone app using a Bluetooth connection.

An app seemingly processes the data – measuring heart rate elevation using a specially built algorithm as well as pre-set data - and only when a woman’s heart rate is suitably elevated and she is in love does the bra catch open, Geekologie reported.While some would-be wearers might worry that any excitement might cause their underwear to ping off, the creators of the bra say that the catch will only be released when a woman is in love so that her Adrenal Medulla (part of the adrenal gland) secretes the hormone Catecholamine, which increases her heart rate.

 

The change is detected by the sensor, transmitted to the iPhone app and the bra unhooks, according to the company. The sex expert in Ravijour’s video said: ‘Until now the bra was a piece of clothing to remove, but now it is an instrument to test true love.  ‘I believe this bra will become a friend of women around the world.'

While the bra is designed to ward off creeps that try and unhook women’s underwear, according to the video, some people have questioned how the wearer might be released from the smart bra is she is not in love, or indeed if she does not feel she needs to be in love to get close to a man.

I Was About Proposing When I Caught My Girlfriend Kissing Another Man In Front Of Her Apartment!!!

Hey guys,

I need your advise on this incident. I called my girlfriend of 2 years earlier in the day that I'd see her in the evening and she told me she'd be home by 9pm because she'd already planned to visit her friend, Angela, immediately after work. So we agreed to see at 9pm. I left at 8pm because of the unpredictable traffic in Lagos but the road was surprisingly free. At about 8.45pm a Range Rover pulled up in front of her apartment, she and her "friend" stayed inside kissing each other then came out and hugged each other for eternity before he drove off. She was cheating on me!!! I actually bought her a diamond ring with the intention of proposing to her that night! It was such a painful experience that I drove off and have not picked her calls since then. She tried stopping by at my office but I had already given my security guards instructions to tell her I was not around.

President Goodluck Jonathan Seeks Death Penalty For Cyber Crime

A death sentence has been proposed on persons who hack into the Critical National Information Infrastructure or computer networks resulting in the loss of lives. The proposal is contained in the Cyber Crime Bill 2013, which is before the House of Representatives. However, where there is no loss of lives but the offender causes “grievous bodily injury” to another person, the bill recommends a prison term of not less than 15 years. Using any computer network for terrorism purposes also attracts life sentence. 


The bill defines Critical National Information Infrastructure as “certain computer systems, networks and information infrastructure vital to the national security of Nigeria or the economy and social well-being of its citizens.” The bill frowns on child Indecency, as it imposes a 10-year jail term for offenders or a fine of N20million or both. The bill criminalizes the use of force to engage children in intimate activities. Offenders are liable to being convicted to 10 years imprisonment or a fine of N15m.

A South Korean woman has been accused of 'ruining her face' after 'before' and 'after' shots of her plastic surgery procedure spread online. The unnamed woman, allegedly a reporter on a South Korean TV channel, has undergone jaw surgery in order to achieve the dainty heart-shaped face desired by many east Asian women. South Korea is the world's largest market for plastic surgery, with one in five Seoul women having gone under the knife. The result of the procedure is an unusually pointed chin, and the reactions on a Japanese online forum did not hold back. One person wrote: 'Someone please tell me this was Photoshopped! Another asked: 'Is it really possible to taper someone’s chin that much?

SSS Released Nasir El-Rufai After 15hours

The State Security Service released the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, in the early hours of Tuesday after quizzing the ex-minister for about 15 hours. El-Rufai, who reported to the SSS Abuja office on Monday, was released some minutes after midnight on bail.

The former minister was summoned by the SSS for what the security agency described as provocative and inciting comments. El-Rufai was reported to have said there would be violence if the 2015 elections are not free and fair.

Woman Had Sex In Her Male Friend's Car While Her Kids Who She Locked In Her Own Car (With The Heater Running) Died Of Hyperthermia

A mother whose children died after she locked them in the car with a heater running, while she had sex in another vehicle, is on trial for homicide. Prosecutors say Heather Jensen, 25, carried out a "death sentence" against her two young sons when she locked then in the hot car, Fox 31 Denver reports. The charges against Ms Jensen include criminally negligent homicide, child abuse resulting in death and false reporting. The rest of the story after the break

"Ms Jensen created the situation that caused her children to die," prosecutor Danielle Lewis said in opening statements. Her defence says her actions should be assessed with regard to her low IQ, her youth and the fact her husband died six weeks earlier in a car accident. "It was a tragedy, but it was an accident. It was not a crime," said public defender Elsa Archambault. Ms Jensen sobbed loudly as her trial opened last week in Mesa County District Court, Colorado.

Ms Jensen’s sons, William, 2, and 4-year-old Tyler, died on November 27, 2012. She told her new live-in boyfriend she was taking the boys to play in the snow and drove them to a snow park, where she met up with a male friend to have sex in the car park. At first, she left the two boys in the car with the heat on and the doors unlocked. After about 30 minutes, Tyler opened the door and Ms Jensen returned him to her car, gave him a mobile phone to play with and secured the child locks before returning to her friend.

The children are said to have spent 90 minutes in the car, where an investigation revealed temperatures could have reached 60 degrees Celsius. Both boys died from hyperthermia. Ms Jensen’s defence attributes her poor decision making to her low IQ of 76, which makes her borderline developmentally disabled. A boyfriend also told investigating police that Ms Jensen had smoked marijuana the day before the children died.

In the three months leading up to the deaths, she had failed court-ordered drug tests three times, the Daily Sentinel reports. The testing was tied to a March 2012 arrest for domestic violence. Her husband Eric had told police Ms Jensen became violent after he confronted her about spending time with friends who supplied her with painkillers Vicodin and Percocet.

Following the deaths of her sons, Ms Jensen also violated the terms of her probation and left Colorado for Florida, to be with her family. "I believe it would be a great opportunity for me to start my life over again in Florida, and being surrounded by all my family who loves me to help me get through the losses I’ve had in this past month," Ms Jensen wrote in the letter to a Mesa County judge. "And I would greatly appreciate it if you will let me move on with my life in Florida."

Ms Jensen's request was denied and she was arrested at her mother's home in North Fort Myers, Florida on January 16, 2013. The jury deciding the case was made up of 10 women and five men, but a judge removed one of the jurors from the trial when he found out she added a witness from the trial as a friend on Facebook, CBS Denver reports. The trial is expected to run for nine days.
