Emma Dumitrescu poses in the world's longest wedding dress
Measuring an astonishing 1.85miles (3,000 metres) the gown was declared the world's longest by Guinness officials, beating a previous record held by a Dutch designer.
The wedding dress was modelled by 17-year-old model Emily Dumitrescu who showed off the record-breaking gown in a hot air balloon which hovered over the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
Several helpers were drafted in to keep hold of the trailing silk gown which was unveiled to the media on Tuesday.

The event in Romania was a complete success
The event was organised by Andree Salon fashion house who are also responsible for arranging the city's popular biannual wedding fair.Organiser Alin Caraman took particular delight in grabbing the record from Holland after Dutch officials recently opposed the country's entry into the European Union's visa-free travel zone, saying: 'If the Netherlands does not allow us into Europe, we'll take them out of the world records book.'
