First they changed University of Lagos(UNILAG) to Moshood Abiola University,(MAUL), Now president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has asked the Senate to approve the renaming of two more federal universities.
Jonathan, in a letter sent to the Senate on Wednesday which was read by the Senate President, David Mark, said the President is asking for approval to rename Federal University of Technology Umudike to Michael Okpara University Umudike; Federal Univeristy of Technology Yola to Modibbo Adama University and University of Lagos to Moshood Abiola University, Lagos.
So my question is why is GEJ renaming these universities?
