A teacher did this to him

The teacher is alleged to have hit the boy with the duster on May 29 at Segolokoane Secondary School in Dennilton, Limpopo.“After seeing that my son’s head was swelling up the teacher called me and told me what he had done. I did not realise the injury was so severe and told him not to worry about it,” said the boy’s father, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his son.

He was then transferred to the Ga-Rankuwa Hospital for further evaluation.”The boy’s parents opened a case of assault against the teacher on June 6. Limpopo police spokeswoman Lieutenant Colonel Ronel Otto said Eric Malatedi Mokwena, 54, was arrested.

The information we got was that the teacher was unhappy with the way the child had done his homework and hit him with a board duster. Mokwena has been charged of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
