Help! My Boyfriend Doesn't Love Me Anymore Because I Failed JAMB

There was a day I asked him, "do you love me?" and he said "yes". I now said but what will I do for you to love me more and he said if only I can pass my JAMB. Well, the JAMB result came out a few days ago and I did not pass it.

When I told him the result, he said "hmmm, my baby since you didn't pass your JAMB I don't think things can work anymore" Now I don't know what to do because I love him very much and don't want to lose him. Please, could he have fallen out of love with me cos of my JAMB result or he's gotten tired of the relationship & using it as a convenient excuse to cop out or he never loved me before?

Please I need your advice.
