Publicist to the Stars, Patti Webster Dies

Veteran music publicist Patti Webster,whose W&W Public Relations has handled PR duties for such artists as Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Bow Wow andUsher, among others, died in Somerville, N.J., her family announced the morning of Sept. 13. She was 49 and had been battling a prolonged illness for several years.

As one of the industry’s top publicists, Webster contributed to the careers of celebrities such as R&B crooner Usher and actress Halle Berry, Kelly Rowland, NBA star Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, actress Holly Robinson Peete, singer Patti Labelle, Warner Brothers Records, Queen Latifah’s Ghettoworks Records, NFL star Cris Carter, and many more.

Ms. Webster was the founder of the prestigious publicity firm W&W PR. May her soul rest in peace...amen!
