With their broad smiles, the Beaties look like any normal, happy family. Nothing could be further from the truth. American Thomas Beatie, who was born female but underwent a sex change, has carried three of his biological children after keeping his female reproductive organs. All three children were born from Thomas's eggs but he is known as Dad while his wife Nancy is known as Mum.
