Governor Fashola picked three children when he visited the site of the crash. The parents of the kids have been missing since the Dana plane crashed into their home.The homeless children; Joel Okechukwu (11), Chisom Okechukwu (9) and Esther Okechukwu, told the governor that they know only one among their father’s relative – Tony Okechukwu who lives in Abuja.
The children said they were sent on errands by their parents, Jeremiah Okechukwu and Josephine Okechukwu, when the aircraft crashed into their home and reduced it to rubble.
Mr Fashola took the children to the Lagos State Government House, Alausa pending when their father’s relative is traced.The governor is very willing to assist the kids, but the government wants to know who their relatives are.
