He's the world's fattest man - but he wasn't always so big. Londoner Keith Martin, 42, is currently the heaviest man on the planet at 58 stone. Now Mr Martin who hasn't left his house in nearly 11 years has gone on a crash diet in an attempt to regain his youthful figure.Martin, who is 5ft 9in tall, said: 'Finding out this month that he is the fattest man in the world has been the wake-up call he needed. Doctors have told him he won't reach 50 unless he does something drastic. Which is to lose half his weight before they'll give me a gastric band.
