The robbers who may have stalked the staff of the supermarket laid an ambush at Umurelu Street side, behind Rumuola Junction and fired several shots into both vehicles, resulting in the death of a female staff of the Supermarket and a police corporal
Two other policemen in a back up escort vehicle had several gun shot wounds.
