Lesbianism- Asa Sues for Defamation of Character

Contrary to rumours making rounds that the award winning singer Asa has been taken to court by the FG on charges of lesbianism, this is not true as no case involving both parties is listed at the court.
The real gist however is that the singer is the one suing the publisher of ‘News of the People’ Loye Hamzat for an article that alleged that Asa is a lesbian.
The case was due for hearing today but was postponed due to Asa’s absence from court. The singer’s lawyer who was present at the court said Asa was unable to make the hearing because she was indisposed.
The case has since been adjourned until the 26th of April 2012. We shall keep you updated on any new development.
