Four Senators were attacked yesterday in Ibadan as they ran into some 10,000 protesters in the Oyo State capital.The Senators, including Babafemi Ojudu and Oluremi Tinubu, were on their way to Abuja by road when they ran into the rampaging youths who stopped them and vandalized their cars. As the rallies entered the 3rd day, all flights remained grounded. In the absence of rail travel, going by road was the only option for the Senators, (who were traveling from Lagos.)
The four Senators, finding Ibadan impregnable, returned to Lagos to await the end of strikes.
