President Goodluck Jonathan paid an unscheduled trip to Kano today visiting the Palace of Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.
The trip is taking place under tight security. The president and his entourage are expected to visit the Zone 1 headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, which suffered the brunt of the audacious attack by Boko Haram militants.
