Dapo Oyebanjo AKA D’banj, who recently parted ways with long time friend and partner Don Jazzy had moved on to greener, ‘brighter’ pastures. According to thenetng, the singer is signed on to Mercury Records, a company in the UK which is part of the The Island Def Jam Music Group in the US; both are subsidiaries of Universal Music Group.
D’banj made several references to it on his twitter page though there has been no official statement to corroborate the story.
