Last week, the king of the skyscraper stiletto, Christian Louboutin, declared: ‘High heels are pleasure with pain. If you can’t walk in them, don’t wear them.’ Up until then, most high-end shoe couturiers have insisted that the more expensive the shoe, the more comfortable it will be.
I have discovered, that expensive does not necessarily equate to comfortable. Addiction to heels dictates what you do each day. You can't even walk down the road to join a friend for lunch or meet up with certain appointments because of that heel.
